‘The Response’ gets nod for Oscar vote

The Response, a short film about a panel of military judges weighing the guilt or innocence of a detainee at Guantanamo Bay, has been selected as one of 10 short films to advance in the voting process for the 82nd Academy Awards. We featured this riveting movie in CityLife back in October, shortly after it had been screened and discussed by a panel of experts at the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV.
