Bringing back the draft

Not so long ago readers, we told you about a Facebook page created to draft Clark County Commission Chairman Rory Reid for governor. Currently, that page has 155 members.

Well, not so fast, people. Because today we’ve learned about a new Facebook page devoted to drafting Assembly Speaker Barbara Buckley for governor. And it’s already garnered 133 members!

The page — created by former Assemblywoman Vivian Freeman — has members including Assembly Majority Leader John Oceguera, veterans activist Johnathan Abbinett, PLAN’s Jan Gilbert and Bob Fulkerson and ex-Review-Journal columnist (and Progress Now Nevada chief) Erin Neff.

So, it would appear The Silent Primary shaping up between Buckley and Reid isn’t dead yet, at least not if you go by Facebook pages. Which of course we do.
